Happy Halloween

I decided to make my children each a bento today with the Halloween costumes they will wear tonight, so my girly got a witch and my little man has a ninja.

My not-so-scary witch is made with steamed rice (colored with carrot water), nori paper, Bosc pears & Wilton icing eyes.  Her bento includes lettuce, a small Gala apple, steamed broccoli, celery sticks, a bell pepper pumpkin, carrot sticks, Chioggia beet flowers, cherry tomatoes  pomegranate seeds and, of course, a witchy Lunchbox Love note!
The ninja is similar, made with the same rice, nori paper & icing eyes.  His bento has lettuce, golden apples, steamed broccoli, a bell pepper pumpkin, carrot & celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, pomegranate seeds & Chioggia beet flowers, also with a spooky Lunchbox Love note!

Happy Panda Family

I love, love, LOVE my new CuteZCute Animal Palz Mini Sandwich & Egg Press!  I used it today to make an adorable pocket sandwich panda family.  This is the easiest tool to use, and has the absolute best results every time.  You will be seeing a lot of it in the months to come, and if you know me, you might just find one wrapped under the tree for you come Christmas.
My panda lunch includes lots of fresh fruits and vegetables packed nicely in my favorite EasyLunchbox, of course!  I also included a Lunchbox Love note with an awesome quote from Albert Einstein.  I don't know about you, but I would much rather follow his advice and go through life seeing the many miracles all around me!
What's in the Box?
Sun Butter & Black Cherry Preserve Pocket Sandwiches
Lettuce, Raw Corn, Baby Carrots, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Snap Peas
Black Olives, Green Grapes, Strawberries
Lunchbox Love Note (Thanksgiving Volume 3)

Today, I am excited to be participating in Round 1 of the Bento Bloggers & Friends Frightfully Festive Blog Hop!

One of my family's favorite movie lines (don't ask me why) is "I got a rock," spoken so sadly by Charlie Brown in It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.  I decided it would be fun to make a bento celebrating this family favorite for today's hop!
What's in the Box?
White Rice w/ Nori Accents & Sausage "Rock"
Lettuce, Broccoli, Asparagus, Red Bell Pepper
Chicken & Apple Sausage, Golden Beets, Carrot
Clementine Orange, Kiwi
Lunchbox Love Note (that happened to fit perfectly with my theme)

Lunchbox Love HALLOWEEN Giveaway

I am super excited today to be hosting another exciting Lunchbox Love Notes giveaway, sponsored by my sweet friends at Say Please!
If you are a regular reader, you know I LOVE these fun little notes.  They are a perfect added touch to let someone know just how special they are.

Today, I am sharing with you the Halloween theme notes, and giving away a set to one of my lucky readers!  These notes are perfect for lunchtime, but I also plan to put some in our Halloween basket to give out to some of our sweet trick-or-treaters on Halloween night!  If you are having a Halloween party, they would make perfect additions to your goodie bags, too!

Each note is 2-sided, with a message on one side and a joke or fun fact on the other. I know you and your kiddos are going to love them as much as we do!
I want to be sure the winner get the notes before Halloween, so this is a VERY SHORT giveaway.  It will only run until Thursday so the winner's prize can be sent out on Friday.  That means you need to enter right away and be sure you check back on Thursday to see if you are the winner!

To enter, leave a comment letting me know what you and/or your children will be dressing up as for Halloween.  This will open up additional entries in the Rafflecopter form.

Winner will be chosen at random on Thursday, October 17 and will have 24 hours to respond.  If I have not heard back at that time, a new winner will be chosen.  Giveaway is open to US and Canada residents only.  Duplicate entries will be disqualified.  All entries must be valid at time of drawing and will be verified.  Good luck!
