Fifteen Minute Friday #16

Welcome to 15 Minute Fridays - Week 16

My fellow bento bloggers and I often receive inquiries regarding the amount of time it takes to make the bento lunches we show on our blogs.  The good news is that bento lunches don't have to take more time than your average lunch.

I am excited to share this episode of my new bento cooking show - Let's Bento - on Ulive.com!  It shows just how quick and easy making a fun bento is!

Lunchbox Love Notes GIVEAWAY

I am so excited to be hosting another Lunchbox Love notes giveaway!  If you are a regular reader, you know I adore these sweet notes.
I have found so many uses for them, and seem to be coming up with more every day. Obviously, they are perfect for adding to your child's lunch or backpack, but there are so many other options, too.

My favorite new use - gift tags!  These little notes are PERFECT for adding to that special present.  There are even birthday, Christmas and Hanukkah specific sets!

The notes are two sided with a special message on the front and a fun trivia fact or joke on the back.  Each set also contains a couple cards that are blank on one side for you to add your own special message.  There are dozens of sets to choose from, each containing 12 cards.  They aren't just for kids, either!  With so many options, you are sure to find the perfect sets for everyone you love!

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below letting me know how you plan to use your love notes if you win.  This will open up additional entry options.  This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only. Winner will be randomly chosen on September 30 and will have 48 hours to respond.  If I do not hear back in that time, I will choose an alternate winner.  All entries must be active and will be verified at the time of drawing to be valid.

Roald Dahl Day Blog Hop

Today, I am participating in the Bento Bloggers and Friends Roald Dahl Day Blog Hop!

While I love all of his books, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory continues to be one of my favorites.  I remember being a child and dreaming about getting one of those golden tickets.  Of course, then I saw the movie and was utterly freaked out by those Oompa-Loompas!!

When my lovely group of bento friends decided to do a Roald Dahl Day Blog Hop, I knew I wanted to pay tribute to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  I decided to make one of those Oompa-Loompas, and I hope mine is much cuter and less freaky than the ones in the movie!
