BBF Star Wars Blog Hop

May the  44444Fourth Be With You
Today, my fellow Bento Bloggers and I are celebrating Star Wars Day with 2 awesome blog hops!  All 4 members of my family are HUGE Star Wars fans, so this is right up my alley!  Visiting my blog, you have found yourself on the DARK SIDE.  I recommend hanging around for awhile.  After all...

"YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER...OF THE DARK SIDE."

I made 2 bentos for this hop.  They were made on the same day - one for each of my kiddos - so they actually have the exact same ingredients.  I just assembled them in different ways to make the different characters.

Deciding on what characters or elements of Star Wars to use was a little tough. Because my son has not actually seen the movies yet and is still quite young, I knew I wanted to make something on the cuter side.  That limited my options quite a bit, and I quickly decided on an Ewok.  I couldn't get an image of an Ewok bento I had seen 6-7 months ago out of my mind, so I used that as my inspiration.  For the second bento, I wanted to do something a little more unique and original.  I didn't remember ever seeing a Jabba the Hut bento, so that was my choice for #2.  Luckily, the same ingredients worked for them both!
