  1. Love your sand dollar! Last year I made an extremely simple and quick bento with a sand dollar. http://eclecticlamb.com/2012/07/04/sand-dollar-bento/

    1. Yours is LOVELY!! I couldn't figure out how to make the center marks. I actually cut it out initially, but it looked bad so I put the flower cutout on top!

  2. That is so cute. Makes me want to take a beach trip and go shelling. The provolone cheese sand dollar is genius because it is so simple but perfect. I've never heard of watermelon radish until now, I am going to have to go Google it.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! Watermelon radish is my absolute favorite vegetable. I am like a kid in a candy store when I see it at my local farmer's market or at Whole Foods. It is much milder than a traditional radish - more like the flavor of kohlrabi.

    1. Thank you! It was a very cold day at the beach and we weren't really dressed warmly enough, but we still had a wonderful time.
